About Gina

Gina’s mental health practice spans 16 years working with adults and youth with a wide range of mental health diagnoses using multiple psychotherapy modalities.

Her clinical experience includes nearly 10 years at Canada’s largest mental health teaching hospital as well as working in the community with first responders and individuals recovering from PTSD at an outpatient psychological trauma program. In more recent years, she has enjoyed working in private practice and alongside psychotherapy and mental health collectives including Changing Waves Neurofeedback and Psychotherapy, and I am Heal(ing) Psychotherapy.

She is experienced and passionate in trauma processing, exposure therapy, mindfulness and somatic interventions. Her clients have achieved greater resilience, emotional regulation and return to meaningful occupations post trauma and illness.

Gina has additional study and training in sexuality and relationship coaching, psychedelic integration, meditation and neurofeedback. She weaves in body-centered tools such as breathwork and somatic integration to guide clients in rewiring new behaviours and empowering narratives about themselves.

When I am not at work, I am enjoying time at home with my favourite furry companion Miss Purrrkins (my cat). You can find me reading one of the many books on my shelf or simply embracing the stillness of my sanctuary which I have proudly filled with a multitude of plants, rock salt lamps, crystals, and scented candles. Nothing warms my heart and soothes my soul like engaging in ecstatic dance, a gentle yin yoga class with a sound bath, or singing the best of 90's jams at karaoke. I love to travel and discover new places and embrace new cuisines from all over. My friends describe me as "the busiest woman on earth" because I also love participating in clinical trainings and professional development, often enrolling in several at a time.

In addition to therapy, I work as a coach and co-host wellness events and retreats incorporating yoga, dance, meditation and teachings in feminine embodiment and relational intimacy.

This year I am calling in more clarity and abundance in my life, and continuing being grateful for all the blessings that I experience.

My mission is be of deepest service to clients on their path to healing the past, loving all parts of themselves and reclaiming their confidence, wholeness and embodiment.
