I would like to acknowledge that the land on which I live and work is the traditional territory of many Indigenous nations, including the Anishinaabe, the Haudenosaunee, the Huron-Wendat, and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. Toronto, now known as a diverse and vibrant city, has a rich Indigenous history and continues to be home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island.
